Hoping Palm gets picked up by a company that can do something, er, magical with them. Getting all misty thinking of my PalmPilot Pro.
Palm Pixi: Worthy of some serious technolust
Man oh man, suddenly I’m transported back a decade to the venerable Palm VII, subject of some serious technolust (and a subsequent purchase) at the time. I just returned a Palm Pre that I had purchased, in no small part due to the difficulty of getting at the keyboard (oh, and that dearth of applications, serious lack of Sprint coverage at the house and the office, and the fact that I already have an iPhone).
But that shape! That keyboard! And the name, which makes me feel all light on my feet, fairy dusty and Björklike! Man, I’ll have to give one of these a serious fondling when they show up at the local store.
I’m waiting … my T-Mobile contract is long since up, I’m limping along on an iPhone with a Pogo stylus, and can’t wait to get my hands on a Palm Pre to see if it’s everything it should be.
coming out of a twitter blackout to say i absolutely must have a Palm Pré (the latest palmpilot)
