On selecting videos to sync with the iPhone

If you look at how iTunes has evolved into its current state, one of the most stand out featues is the integration of rich media - from thumbnails to Cover Flow - into media browsing and into the iPhone experience.

And one of the places where this is most relevant is when you are selecting media to transfer onto your iPhone … at which point Apple dumps you into textville: a long list of the names of your videos, with no organization other than alpha sort, and no way to scroll horizontally for long video names.

It’s gotten to the point that it’s the first thing I check with each update of iTunes. So far, no change.
